navreme vienna was founded on 01/01/01 (KEG: consulting company), changed legal status in September 2007 (GmbH: a society with limited responsibility), and is: 

  • acting as the headquarter of the entire navreme network;
  • a founding member of CERN EEIG (the Capitalisation and Evaluation Research Network), established under the EU's Leonardo programme;
  • a founding member of the global "Web-Ring of Independent Evaluators";
  • located in our joint office with factline, at Praterstrasse, Vienna (map for public transport).

    Consulting assignments are awarded by International Organisations such as the European Commission, World Bank, UNDP, ILO, Council of Europe, Austrian and Eastern European Ministries, Stability Pact, and the Open Society Institute, and gravitate around institution and capacity building across Europe.

    Over the last years the company was also charged with the development of methods, Internet-based tools, and training programmes for evaluations in the public sector, in the EU, in its New Member States, and its New Neighbourhood. Some of our products and results are published in our publication series or online.

    In early 2007, our Guide on Intercultural Education received the AULA Award of the Spanish Ministry of Education as "best educational materials of the year 2006".
    In June 2007, navreme was awarded the international quality seal "Certified Management Consultant" (see press communiquè).

    Together with coordinator UNED and 10 European partners, navreme has been awarded the Evens Award for Intercultural Education in Europe (October 2005, press communiqué).


    Last not least, navreme is the winner of the first national Constantinus Award for young entrepreneurs, created for consulting firms by the Austrian Chamber and Ministry of Economics in 2003. It was chosen as the first Winner for its UNDP-financed project in Serbia (March 2003, press communiqué, see the trophy).
