inorma works as a powerful tool for groups to voice and share their current realities;
it releases a shared creativity and a sense of fun in building new futures.
inorma as an ice-breaker for management seminars, facilitates teambuilding, and prepares groups for identifying and agreeing development options and the development of scenarios.
inorma enables the conceptual and visual mapping of the current and aspired values,
objectives and practices of organisations, institutions and firms.
Maps - simple street plans as well as antique codices - answer to our vital need of orientation, but have also other functions. For example they act as a prompt, to help us keep in mind our objectives, and keep us in touch with our environment. With the support of on-the-spot design of a "geographic map", these technique allows people to identify organisational strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, in a dynamic time-sensitive manner. It de-couples conceptual thinking from daily work in an enjoyable way, and re-routes the potential of participants to develop and manage their future towards new endeavours. It prepares for, and integrates well with, sophisticated strategy and management consulting practices, and draws upon psychological methods such as Systemic Representation (according to Hellinger and Varga von Kibéd).
The eventual output of inorma-guided sessions - a geographic map of the organisation's status and direction - traces interactive development work (ORMA in Romance languages means TRACE), and can be disseminated via electronic mail or printed in poster format as a recall for jointly agreed strategic decisions.
Samples are available from inorma sessions with the Council for Economic and Social Affairs in Romania (CES), and with the ICT specialists of the Government of the Land Niederoesterreich - for 2002 and 2005.
