1 Danube University - teaching Intercultural
Competences in Krems (AT) 2007
This teaching assignment was with the Danube University Krems,
in Lower Austria. Within a post-graduate programme on Intercultural
Communication and Competences, Dr Baumgartl teached a module
on "Intercultural Cooperation in EU Projects: Communication,
Conflict, Collaboration". It draws on practice and experience
of transnational cooperation in the framework of EU project
by navreme: management of EU projects - values, hierarchies,
power and interests. It will result in the joint elaboration
of „traps and tools“ – a checklist of how
to design, plan, implement, and evaluate/valorise endeavours
of transcultural cooperation.
