1 EU Migration Policy – Evaluation
of Preparatory Actions B7-667 Cooperation with Third Countries
in the Area of Migration 2007
The budget line B7-667 was established by the budgetary authority
in 2001 to support cooperation with third countries in the area
of migration (and is currently continued with the AENEAS
programme). The appropriations are to finance programmes
and projects in the framework of partnership with countries
and regions of origin and transit in relation to migration and
asylum.

2 NEF - cultural cluster 2007-2008
The wider project aims at an analysis of foundation’s
initiatives in the fields of cultural diversity and intercultural
dialogue, and at exploring the range of foundations’ policies,
approaches and initiatives to promote awareness of cultural
diversity and intercultural dialogue in Europe. In March 2007,
it was agreed that a short briefing paper be produced instead
of the previously planned detailed research exercise. The brief,
lead by Jochen Fried on behalf of navreme, will try to perceive
trends in the funding policy of major European foundations active
in the fields of integration and culture. Cooperation with ECF
is envisaged to continue later, with a view to the Year of Intercultural
Dialogue 2008.

3 UNESCO: Non-Public Higher Education in Europe
In November 2005, UNESCO-CEPES held a conference on Private
Higher Education in Europe and Quality Assurance and Accreditation
from the Perspective of the Bologna Process Objectives. Thirteen
country reports and a comparative analysis study were commissioned
for this specific initiative. The countries included in the
project were: Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Germany,
Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Turkey, and
the Ukraine.

4 MC-DIP
The proposed creation of multicultural diagnostics tool kit
(MC-DIP) to support the development of culturally sensitive
Learner Management System’s (LMS) is based on a need to
directly support ethnic minorities and immigrants through e-learning
and as a consequence enabling both information and knowledge
transfer. Duration 2005-2007.

5 EVAL4 Testscan
navreme knowledge development has been testing three tools within
the Eval 4 project, namely: SPEAK, LUDOVALUATE, and MENTOR since
2003. Each tool has been tested by diverse focus groups. As
time passed, tests were made with versions of the tools after
revisions were made based on the feedback of the initial tests.
