0 Evaluation of US-AID project on "Human Trafficking"
in South-East Europe 2009
Funded by US-AID, the “Programme
to Support the Development of Transnational Referral Mechanisms
for Trafficked Persons in Southeastern Europe” is implemented
by the ICMPD (International
Centre for Migration Policy Development) in Vienna. The evaluation
is executed by navreme jointly with CORE.

1 Evaluation of "Support
to Court Management System" in Turkey 2009
Under the series of programmes to prepare Turkey for accession
to the EU, a project implemented by the Council of Europe targets
the increase of efficiency and transparency of the Turkish legal
system. navreme (Bernd Baumgartl as senior evaluator and Ursula
Boehle from Cutting Edge as expert for organisational development
and personnel management) undertook a mission to pilot courts
and delivered an interim evaluation report to the Council of
Europe and the Delegation of the European Commission in Ankara,
with recommendations for the final phase of implementation.

2 TT+ - on trainer role and needs
2006-2008
It aims at developing a common framework of reference for the
competences and qualifications of trainers in vocational education,
at investigating policies and provision for the training of
trainers, and at articulating a Framework for Continuing Professional
Development. navreme provides the accompanying evaluation, and
develops visualisations.

3 EQUAL transnational projects - Evaluation in the Czech
Republic 2008
Under the lead of navreme boheme,
a team of navreme network partners
from several countries is starting to evaluate the first Czech
wave of EQUAL projects. With a view to the new phase of ESF
funding, the Czech Ministry is requesting a thorough evaluation
of failures and successes, including a transnational comparison
with Austria, Belgium, Italy, Poland, and Portugal - all of
which are done by navreme partners. Petra Jedlicková
acts as the team leader, navreme wissensentwicklung from Vienna
(Bernd Baumgart, Maria Spindler) will undertake case studies,
and an "accompanying evaluation".

4 SMEs in Russia - Evaluation of EU programmes
2007-2008
The EU-Russia Cooperation Programme funded through Tacis (programme
of technical assistance to CIS countries) has been designed
to aid Russia in major economic and public developments by combining
EU experience in market economies and democracies with Russia’s
local knowledge and skills. The evaluation targets Private Sector
Support and its Links with Private Sector Development Policies
Development.

5 DEQU - Development of Elements for Quality Assurance within
Higher Education Institutions (2005-7)
This EU-Leonardo project developed elements of quality assurance
in selected “key processes” for practice and professional
field oriented higher education under the outlines of the Bologna
process as well as the Bruges-Copenhagen process. Partner: navreme
boheme.

6 ASO - Policy Evaluation of Austrian Science and Research
Liaison Offices (2006)
Under the aegide of the Federal Ministry for Education, Science
and Culture, Austria maintains these offices in (mostly neighbouring)
countries. In 2006, navreme was asked to execute an interim
evaluation of their work and impact, and provide the Ministry
with policy advice regarding its foreign science policy in Central
and Eastern Europe.

7 INTER - Evaluation and contribution to the development
of a guide for intercultural learning (2003-5)
The INTER Guide has been designed as a practical tool to
provide the reader with support in analyzing, implementing and
improving Intercultural Education in school practices. navreme
provided accompanying evaluation of the project. Duration 2003-2005.

1-year evaluation of EU support in reseaarch and development
to the Community of Independent States, including policy advise.

9 UKIM - Reform of University of Skopje (MK, 2003-5)
2-year development project with the Ss. Cyril and Methodius
University in Skopje, Macedonia was financed by the Austrian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and structured in 3 components:
QAE - quality assurance & evaluation, PRO - procurement,
and MOB - mobility. It resulted, amongst others,
in a publication: "QUALITY ASSURANCE IN HIGHER EDUCATION
- FROM ANALYSIS TO IMPROVEMENT" (link).

10 - Evaluation of Crimean Integration Programme (2002)
Programme of the International Renaissance Foundation (Soros
network) in Kyiv, Ukraine. Integration of former Deportees -
Crimean Tatar people, Armenians, Bulgarians, Germans, Greeks
