At the public presentation event for a-stra 2008, art historian and journalist Dagmar Travner, put into context and relation the work of navreme and artist Barbara Höller. In her words, "Barbara Höller picks up pure colours, forms colour strings, in variations, and roles them into spirals. Colour lines, displayed on glass, and gradually drying into an elastic, smooth material. The clue is to catch the right moment in time, the Kairos or navreme, of this drying process".
The eventual outcome of the a-stra 2008 cooperation is a piece of art, consisting of a wealth of acryl strings, which were assembled into an object of Höller's "Time Spiral" series. navreme considers the input by the artist as yet another dimension of thinking about and conceptualising different notions of time (na-vreme means "on time"). Questions arising can be the following: * Where are we stuck in a spiral? * How can we enter and realise a spiral of improvement? * Where do we lose/gain time? * Do we use our time in the most efficient, satisfactory and joyful
manner? * What is the right balance between our work (time) and private life (time)? Between different moments in time, i.e. practice in projects, reflection, evaluation and research, and joint learning in workshops and seminars, how best in order to develop new knowledge - for the next practice assignment?
