MobiSem - Offline Availability of RDF Repositories
2008-2010
The project was proposed under the lead of the University of Vienna's
Department for Distributed and Multimedia Systems, jointly with
pSolutions, an ICT company and our partners in Vienna's Communication
Cluser 4C, navreme wissensentwicklung in Vienna and navreme boheme
in Prague. It is financed by the Austrian governmental Research
Community and will last 2008-2010. The full project title reads
"Mobile Semantics: Offline Availability of RDF Repositories",
and will research and test an extension to the existing infrastructure
of Semantic Web applications which are then made available offline
using a proxy SPARQL endpoint. Also, we aim to develop user interfaces
for such a system, which can be used by non-expert users.
